So unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last couple of month you proberly heard of the new TV series Riverdale. Based on the charecters of the Archie Comics it follows the lives of the people in Riverdale and the teenagers who try to solve the murder of one the Jocks Jason Blossom who goes missing after a boat ride with his twin sister Cheryl.

Running along the lines of programmes like Veronica Mars , Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl a group of friends find there way scooby gang themselves to the truth with the twists and turns of there possible families involvement .

I am not going to do a episode by episode guide of this programme as it has already ended and is all on Netflix. The 13 episode are like catnip to a person like me and I have managed to stay clear of any gossip about it on the internet for the entirety of it airing . Which in the twitterverse world is quite hard . But as of last night I binged watched it all and OMG !!!!!!

WELL LIKE I SAID CATNIP 😀

To anyone who likes a good murder mystery with teen angst or just someone who is a fan of the original charecters like the wonderful Betty and Veronica and Archie I would recommened it and as a person who is quite good at solving puzzuls in TV I have to say I didnt see a good few of them .

Although I have to say the very last 2 minutes of the last episode well I saw that coming a mile away (sorry writers).

With charecters like Jughead , Josie and the pussycats , mean girl Cheryl all thats left to say is go binge RIVERDALE !!!!

Mental Health Week 2017

This week is is mental health week agaian and this year has been a rollercoater of emotions for me.  I managed to achevive a feet I never thought I would , I went on holiday . I managed to have a amazing time in Hawaii for two weeks with my amazing friend Izzy. I cannot thank her enoughfor supporting me for the whole trip.  The rush of emotions that I felt over those two weeks were something I’d never felt before and it has proved to me that even though my mental health and disibility I can do things I never thought I could do before . I will do a post on Hawaii soon and let you know all the things we got up to.

Since being home though it has been a hard battle the first week I slept most of the time because of jet lag but over the last week and a bit I’ve headed downhill.

My emotions can sometimes be linked to when my period is so this will happen every month and every month I feel like it has never happened before . The strange feeling that I can’t hold on to a single thought and they are all rushing past me like a moterway.

The only way I can explain it is like that , a moterway where I’m reaching out my hand to slow it down or grasp just one thought to sort that out and pull it out of the lanes . But I just catch it, it gets worse till everything bubbles to the top and I cant feel anything but overwhelmed but sadness even though a part of me knows it isnt real its just my brain can’t process all the infomation.

The other day to distract myself I took down a wardrobe at 1am , my mind really like that it takes me away from everything.

The other thing that triggers this is new things , relationships , new changes with family , people cancelling if I have plans that sort of the things .

Anyway all I can say is last year when I was writing for MHW I was’nt in one of my episodes where as this year I am and I can truly feel everything . Being honest about how your feeling is hard when you suffer from deppresion or anything like that. So it is important we use this week to show that having a mental health issue does not make you strange or diffrent from everyone else everyone has something . But we must support each other to get though dark times we have and not just for this week but all year.

Shadowhunters -Parabatai Lost

SO  was nothing short of a emotional ride.

Again we kick off where we left off . And start off with Clary walking in from getting off the boat and Jace waking up on the shore next to the body of the werewolf that Valentine killed.  

 

So the stories this episode were the werewolves wanting vengeance for there were wolf’s death . And that’s where we meet the new werewolf member maia.  So Jace ends up in Maia bar and they chase him into a injury that gets him in hospital. They think he killed there fellow werewolf.

Izzy tells Jace Alec is sick

Meanwhile he has managed to get in contact with izzy who has told him about alec still being unconscious. Jace is hunted throughout the episodes by the were wolves until luke calls them off.  So this episode features jace trying to get to alec to save him.

Also we also get a inside into how Jace and Alec met and how there parabatai bond was formed . Izzy and jace make a deal that he will save alec and aldertree will take Jace in for judgement .  Magnus spends the whole episode helping alec and it’s very sweet, never leaving his side.

As for Clary she helps Simon in this episode as we see Simons home life and how his family are . His mum a recovering alcoholic.  Simon finds a bottle of alcohol and asks Clary to help him find her . They do but when Simon finds her he sees that Raphael  is faking to be his manager . I’m going to attach the end video of the final part .but in words there’s a parabiti heartfelt scene where Jace recites his bond mixed with flashbacks of the original bond to save him . Luckily ALEC WAKES UP!!!! he completes the bond . Jace is taken away by aldertree.

So in the next episode we see Jace go to the silent brothers for judgement but also …… THE PROMO SAYS ONE SHADOWHUNTERS WILL DIE !!!! OMG

Shadowhunters – The Door Into The Dark

All I can say is DAAAAAMMMMMM!!

I have to say 2×02 has been my favourite episode of both season 1 and season 2 yet. So here goes ……….    

Poor Alec is having a hard time and decides to take it out on Clary  and tell her she doesn’t belong there. Which leads to the episode of Clary going back to art school trying to find her way before she became a Shadowhunter.

MUMMY ISSUES

 

Izzy and Alec go to find some answers and go to a gym, which leads to my favouite bit IZZY KICKING ASS!!! Don’t mess with Izzy clip below – well worth a watch. 

Simon after being threatened to find Camille goes to Magnus for help and we get a team up (BROMANCE BLOOMING ?).

Plus a very good Simon VS Snake showdown.

Being out of the safety of the Institute, she goes back to her art school going back to who she was .

Clary gets taken by the very alive but looking worse for wears Dot to Valentines boat. Her mind is then manipulated to talk to Jace and tell things to him that are not true .

Meanwhile Luke has given Joselyn a stone he got from his mother who was a member of the Iron Sisters one to help Alec and Jace connect using there Parabatai bond . However this causes risk…

After Clary wakes up she convinces Dot to let her go and Dot helps them escape off the boat …

While they are jumping of the boat poor Alec is going though hell to find Jace which means he is feeling it too .

Will one die to save the other , will they both die haha then where would the story go .

Right now it is not looking good for our favourite Parabatai’s….

Shadowhunters – The Guilty Blood 2×01

So Shadowhunters is back and I am so happy , we were promised a darker version and it has certainly taken us there.

SO this is Episode 1, The Guilty Blood

This time I’m doing things a little different

So team Shadowhunters and downworlders are on the hunt for Jace. So Izzy, Alec, Clary, Magnus, Luke and Simon all trying to use their contacts to find him.

Clary is having mummy issues big time !!! Joslyn is awake but as the episode goes on we see she may not have Jace’s interests at heart . DAMN MUM WHERES YOUR HEART AT.

Is there trouble in paradise for MALEC? In 2×01 it seems Alec is taking all his frustration out on Mangus …. So happy he decided to say sorry . Oh Alexander !!

Say hello new guy in charge !!!!  So the clave has put  new character Victor Aldertree in charge, taking over from Lydia Branwell who’s been demoted . He also kicks out all downworlders  before putting everyone in lockdown and he soon gets down to interviewing each of the characters. And then he decides ……. 

DEAD OR ALIVE !!!!!!!!!!!

 

DAMN YOU !!!

Simon goes back with Luke to hide from the rising sun. The other werewolves are not to happy and put poor Simon in the boat shed for the night. I love seeing Luke and Simon scenes though. What about you guys?

Valentine and Jace.

After Jace tries to escape with a fake glamour of Clary Valentine chooses to torture Jace but later lets him go for some creepy father son bonding , (I’m still in the opinion that the father and son is not true)

Now as for Clary and Joslyn , Clary manages to escape the lockdown and goes to ask Luke and Simon for help by the docks . Sadly mummy dearest follows her and after locking Clary and Simon in the docks Joslyn tracks down Valentine and Jace and tries to shoot Jace !!! 

This was a great Clary and Simon scene though very sweet.

Valentine gets shot and protects Jace and the both disappear into a portal.

NEW ALBUM, NEW LIFE UPDATES , BUT SAME ME XOXO

So for the past few weeks I’ve been trying to work out how to write my newest blog post . I stopped writing in Spring 2016 so that I could concentrate on completing my album and am very happy to say that is now done. I had the album launch on the 20th November in Soho and I loved it!

I had a plan the week after the event. I would sit down and do a piece on it and how life has been, but of course I hit a wall. Turns out throwing myself into all that work meant that once it was done my depression kicked in with the feeling of “what do I do now.” The week after the event was one of mixed feelings I went though the high of my music being out and people listening to it, letting me know how they thought. Then two days went by and I went to a low. With nothing to plan or think about anymore I was in a place of having a new blank slate. This then continued until the past couple of days. Since then I have really been able to pull myself up happier, slowly day by day. Now the stress of planning Christmas hit me, for me you have to understand that even making a simple decision is incredibly hard as my brain damage just cant make a choice without me getting very stressed. I’m lucky enough I have my family and my mum and my roommate to help me take on that with me.

I’m back in the studio working on my acoustic version of the album which hopefully you can buy in the new year. Plus I’m already working on new songs and my Christmas video cover.

So my album Restless Dreamland… well the only way I describe it is a gothic Alice In Wonderland – childhood fears or as you realise you’re losing your innocence and what lies underneath. (I was always a thriller and horror movies girl!) It’s on Spotify and iTunes and hopefully next year there will be videos to go with it

The other thing, is at Christmas it’s also my birthday, not on christmas but a couple of days later and I’m thinking about my last year and how I can no longer dance to Taylor Swift’s 22 quite the same as 23 is just around the bend. But it’s been one of the best years , my friends , my family and oh yes good old Moomin of course.

So onto 23 and 2017!

This Weeks Binge TV- ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS

 

OMG HAVE YOU HEARD (OF COURSE YOU HAVE ) AB FAB THE MOVIE IS OUT !!

I start this post with apology , an apology that it has taken me this long to actually start to watch Ab Fab . My sister and my mum would always watch it when I was little and they would both chorus “You’ll really like it ” WELL WHAT YOU KNOW THEY WERE SO SO SO RIGHT.

The comedic timing between all the characters and the outrageousness of Patsy and Eddie is … well there are no words that can sum up but EPICALLY GENIUS come to mind .

I can’t wait to see the movie to see how Saffy is dealing with them and of course Eddie’s PA  bubble .

I was behind the Ab Fab float during pride and it was great seeing so many Patsy and Eddies everywhere .

Anyway I’m going to go back to it now . OH NETFLIX THANKS FOR SUPPORTING MY BINGE. Check in next week to Flight DB1NG3 to find out what you should check out. (HAHA I DO MAKE MYSELF GIGGLE).

Pretty Little Liars 7×02 – Bedlam

 

So its episode 2 of Pretty Little Liars and we open up with Mary Drake taking Hanna back to Spencers’ house.

Now all are reunited the question of the episode are :

What are Mary Drakes plans ?

Who’s side is she on ?

Is Hanna really ok ?

and

Time to rescue Alison ?

Beginning

Again in this episode we see the distance starting to show between Spencer and Caleb as she can see more and more that Haleb may return to couple status . Hanna , Spencer , Caleb and Emily all go to get Hanna settled back into her loft (well locus loft). Hanna tells Caleb that all the kiss was was a memory . We can see the affect its having on poor spencer. Emily stays with Hanna and while she’s sleeping gets a sacred call from Alison ……. HELP ME! ……

 

This leads us onto one of the main storylines for this episode , Emily is determined to go see if she is okay but has been denied a visit because now Alison has been restricted to family members only on Dr Rollins orders.

CREEPY ROLLINS !!!

 

MARY DRAKE AND EMILYS RESCUE PLAN

Emily tries to convince Spencer that they could use Mary Drake to get in and see her . But is thawed but the fact that our CREEPY DR has even banned her after talking with Jason . Which by the way no one has heard from in AGES !!!

 

After a surprise run in The Radley Emily and Mary have a chat and Mary suggests that they go visit Alison . This is after we have just learned about Mary Drakes history when she chats to Spencer in the previous scene.

Sympathy points or the truth ?

 

At the end of the episode they find there way in to see her and a scared and drugged Alison manages to see Emily and also her aunt but also thinks its her mother . Until Rollins comes in and poor Alison screams out for Emily to help her.

Dr Rollins goes into a room with Mary Drake and we hear his english accent come out and a power struggle possible suggesting that Mary is ant truly in charge and that Dr Rollins is as we see her say he’s gone too far.

EZRIA RETURNS

Now Ezria has been returning for a while now but in this episode we see Aria break up with Liam , however minutes later he says he’s back on the book. AWKWARD !!!!

Anyway Liam sees our ever favourite shippers in the town square holding hands and at the meeting later on digs into Ezra about his character being a predetor. Ezra of course tells Aria and later on when she chats to Liam they talk about how Liam thinks Ezra sudduced her in high school.

 

OH HANNA I FEEL FOR YA

Hanna’s storyline in this episode is her trying to take everything back to the beginning . While Emily and the others are off in this episode we get to see the return of Lucas as he comes to ask her whether she has made a decision on making the investment this leads Hanna into a head spin trying to decide what she truly wants in life .

NEW YORK NEW YORK

 We see her in Jordan’s office in a very beautiful red dress after remembering the time that they met and says she wants to go back there and start again suducing him . Sadly for Hanna its gone which leads her to take her ring off and the end of her engagement .

 

BACK TO ROSEWOOD

Back in Rosewood she tells Lucas she’s in and signs the papers and by the end of the episode we see her making her designs .

  

IS THIS THE END OF SPALEB

As I said before the beginning of this episode shows how Spencer can feel the distance growing between her and Caleb and this is showed throughout the episode while at Spencers house . Scenes shown of her burying herself in work crying at times and near the end of the episode she asks him . WERE WE A MISTAKE ? He says no and she replies THEN WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IT IN THE PAST TENSE .

I feel like we may be nearing the end of Spencer and Caleb which is a shame I think they make a great couple but I also adore Hanna and Caleb so hard choices .

 

THEORIES

Now I don’t usually put theories and stuff on here but I have been reading a lot about how people think the Spencer who was with Hanna last episode was also a twin and I can kinda see how they’d play that story twins are genetic . Maybe Spencer isn’t a Hastings by blood but a Drake and this whole game is being masterminded by Spencers twin A.D . Seen as they have used the twin with Mary Drake now I don’t know if they’ll use it again.

Maybe A.D is just that B.C A.D as in used just as a refrece not actually inishules to anyones name . Just chucking that one out there .

Also there has been a lot of use of masks throughout PLL but in the end of season 6 there was also a lot of face swapping masks . I have been reading that Wren is to return now thinking of how Dr Rollins goes into a british accent behind doors could it be Wren wearing a prosthetics ??

Finally the last scene shows Alison being taken some where while drugged , I am one of those that don’t believe Alison did it . I think it goes back to the very beginning someone hates her that bad they want the liars to believe she did and her gone.
