In Denial That Pretty Little Liars is ending :(

To explain that I am not ready for Pretty Little Liars to end would go on for years but I’m going to try.

Next week is the last episode ever of PLL and the final reveal of A.D.

I remember how before we knew it was Mona years ago how I would play out who -A could be , the reasons why and little graphs showing everything that happened in Rosewood. Safe to say I was fully invested in what went down in that little town and all the mysteries that came with it . At a time where I myself was working on my idendity and acceptance of being disabled and having mental health issues, there was a true group of friends that stuck together though everything (even if it was only a story) .

From the first death to the death of Archer Dunhill keeping us on our toes and having us suspect ever the liars at times was my catnip.

What we know about A.D and season 7 secrets :

From the 7×19 we now know who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis ……. MONA !!

Well that they fought and Charlotte died from a blow to the head in the struggle.

We also know who killed Jessica DiLaurentis ……… MARY DRAKE

So Mary killed her sister Jessica and just before Detective Tanner finished of the girls by putting them in prison she confessed to killing her sister and Dunhill.

To protect her daughter and her niece .

As the girls thought they had there last night we saw all the couples together again so cute.

AND

Toby and Spencer !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alison is carrying Emily’s child and we still don’t know who the father is.

But last Aria’s betrayal , we saw A.D dig there claws in her and we saw her do some terrible things like destroy the babies nursery , Spencers home life. Then the truth came out and she was finally caught by the girls “black hooded” as Hanna said .

Luckly enough she has a group of friends that by the end of the episode they were together again .

So what do we know for the final episode:

The board game has ended. But what does that mean and what does A.D stand for ?

Anno Domini ?

As in they took over from -A and Uber -A ?

Or that they were on the scene even before them maybe.

Or that they’ve risen from the dead ?

That leads me to think if its a season one character there from the very start

Maya back from the dead (that would break my heart)

Or the ever suspicious Jenna or Melissa which would tie into my other theory but they have always be obvious suspects so I think that maybe to simple….

Another DiLaurentis ?

Its very simply another DiLaurentis and could be Jenna maybe or another twin , Spencers mainly but it could be one of the others.

So there it is my suspects for the PLL FINALE !

The one thing I will say is I’m glad its a 2hour thing because I think thats where they went severely wrong in the Charlotte reveal , they needed more time for loose ends and bits didn’t make sense.

Rather then post a weekly episode I’m doing a farwell post this one and one posted after the finale airs.

For me PLL helped me embrace a part that at the time I was not sure of I remember watching season 1 at a age working out my sexuality and relising to myself that I liked girls . That the friendships I would form would make me stronger than ever .

Yes the PLL’s covered up murders and crime which I did not but they tought us that a group of girls could make a on what happens in life .

Pretty Little Liars 7×02 – Bedlam

 

So its episode 2 of Pretty Little Liars and we open up with Mary Drake taking Hanna back to Spencers’ house.

Now all are reunited the question of the episode are :

What are Mary Drakes plans ?

Who’s side is she on ?

Is Hanna really ok ?

and

Time to rescue Alison ?

Beginning

Again in this episode we see the distance starting to show between Spencer and Caleb as she can see more and more that Haleb may return to couple status . Hanna , Spencer , Caleb and Emily all go to get Hanna settled back into her loft (well locus loft). Hanna tells Caleb that all the kiss was was a memory . We can see the affect its having on poor spencer. Emily stays with Hanna and while she’s sleeping gets a sacred call from Alison ……. HELP ME! ……

 

This leads us onto one of the main storylines for this episode , Emily is determined to go see if she is okay but has been denied a visit because now Alison has been restricted to family members only on Dr Rollins orders.

CREEPY ROLLINS !!!

 

MARY DRAKE AND EMILYS RESCUE PLAN

Emily tries to convince Spencer that they could use Mary Drake to get in and see her . But is thawed but the fact that our CREEPY DR has even banned her after talking with Jason . Which by the way no one has heard from in AGES !!!

 

After a surprise run in The Radley Emily and Mary have a chat and Mary suggests that they go visit Alison . This is after we have just learned about Mary Drakes history when she chats to Spencer in the previous scene.

Sympathy points or the truth ?

 

At the end of the episode they find there way in to see her and a scared and drugged Alison manages to see Emily and also her aunt but also thinks its her mother . Until Rollins comes in and poor Alison screams out for Emily to help her.

Dr Rollins goes into a room with Mary Drake and we hear his english accent come out and a power struggle possible suggesting that Mary is ant truly in charge and that Dr Rollins is as we see her say he’s gone too far.

EZRIA RETURNS

Now Ezria has been returning for a while now but in this episode we see Aria break up with Liam , however minutes later he says he’s back on the book. AWKWARD !!!!

Anyway Liam sees our ever favourite shippers in the town square holding hands and at the meeting later on digs into Ezra about his character being a predetor. Ezra of course tells Aria and later on when she chats to Liam they talk about how Liam thinks Ezra sudduced her in high school.

 

OH HANNA I FEEL FOR YA

Hanna’s storyline in this episode is her trying to take everything back to the beginning . While Emily and the others are off in this episode we get to see the return of Lucas as he comes to ask her whether she has made a decision on making the investment this leads Hanna into a head spin trying to decide what she truly wants in life .

NEW YORK NEW YORK

 We see her in Jordan’s office in a very beautiful red dress after remembering the time that they met and says she wants to go back there and start again suducing him . Sadly for Hanna its gone which leads her to take her ring off and the end of her engagement .

 

BACK TO ROSEWOOD

Back in Rosewood she tells Lucas she’s in and signs the papers and by the end of the episode we see her making her designs .

  

IS THIS THE END OF SPALEB

As I said before the beginning of this episode shows how Spencer can feel the distance growing between her and Caleb and this is showed throughout the episode while at Spencers house . Scenes shown of her burying herself in work crying at times and near the end of the episode she asks him . WERE WE A MISTAKE ? He says no and she replies THEN WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IT IN THE PAST TENSE .

I feel like we may be nearing the end of Spencer and Caleb which is a shame I think they make a great couple but I also adore Hanna and Caleb so hard choices .

 

THEORIES

Now I don’t usually put theories and stuff on here but I have been reading a lot about how people think the Spencer who was with Hanna last episode was also a twin and I can kinda see how they’d play that story twins are genetic . Maybe Spencer isn’t a Hastings by blood but a Drake and this whole game is being masterminded by Spencers twin A.D . Seen as they have used the twin with Mary Drake now I don’t know if they’ll use it again.

Maybe A.D is just that B.C A.D as in used just as a refrece not actually inishules to anyones name . Just chucking that one out there .

Also there has been a lot of use of masks throughout PLL but in the end of season 6 there was also a lot of face swapping masks . I have been reading that Wren is to return now thinking of how Dr Rollins goes into a british accent behind doors could it be Wren wearing a prosthetics ??

Finally the last scene shows Alison being taken some where while drugged , I am one of those that don’t believe Alison did it . I think it goes back to the very beginning someone hates her that bad they want the liars to believe she did and her gone.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS SEASON 7 OMG :)

So the time has come PLL will return tonight in the US & to Netflix tomorrow for us in the UK. The PLL gang are all out to find Hanna and what ghost await there hunt. We know there will be a lot of returning characters this season .

We hear that Paige will be one , which I am very exited for , Jason and of course Mrs D (BUT NOT MRS D). TWIN THEORY MUCH !!!! Mary Drake, Charlotte’s mother!

Where we left off Alison has married her doctor love who is actually working for Mary Drake. Due to Alison thinking she’s losing her mind she’s got herself some help but now she’s separated from the liars , she’s at the mercy of them till the girls can convince her they created everything .

From the promos we see that Hanna maybe back in the dollhouse or another like it , after they tried to trick EMOJI -A (as named by Caleb) into thinking Hanna killed Charlotte . Also there was that HALEB KISS!!!!!!! Anyone scream AWKWARD seen as Caleb and Spencer are dating .

Aria and Ezra found there way back to each other everyone say awwwwww . They also got there book released .

Emily had to sell her eggs to get money as she went though some struggles which EMOJI -A stole . BITCH !!

Spencers mum won the election , Toby and his girlfriend are on severe rocks after he’s helping the PLLs and Mona is back in the game (as of now on team PLL)

So the opening of season 7 which may I say might be the last 😦

We have Toby, Spencer , Emily , Mona, Caleb , Ezra and Aria on the hunt for answers and looking for Hanna . So #SAVEHANNA

So exiting news Pretty Little Liars is back as of last night !!

Pretty Little Liars is back and back on Netflix , you will get the review of the episode Friday this week as I’m not very well at the moment thanks to being ill plus a hangover …. oops

The good thing is that the new programme Shadowhunters is also on Netflix. In the US as lots of you know they are on the same network (formerly ABC Family) NOW FREEFORM !!  So the idea is every week you will get the latest reviews of both episodes.

I was going to just write another review this week but instead seen as its the penultimate episode to finding out the truth , I’d do a little bit for that .

Pretty Little Liars 6×03 Songs Of Experience :D

Here is your weekly catch up on what went down in PLL. In this episode we see the girls try to get back to life as usual. AS BEST YOU CAN IN ROSEWOOD.
We open up the episode with each girl wondering could have Andrew really of pulled off being in school with them and still kept Sarah in captivity. Sarah is now staying with Emily , Sarah after seeing Andrew on the news doesn’t think its him. As for getting back to normal the girls decide they should try going back to school although Hanna is the only one that makes it. Emily spends more time with Sarah , Ezria team up to try find out who Charles is and Spencer spends time with both Toby and Alison. So here goes…..

Team Ezria
Aria decides to spend the day at the cafe going though pictures of Andrew at school and when Ezra finds her they decide to play cop and ring up to find out more . They find that Andrew’s records are sealed and that they are ADOPTION RECORDS !!!!

Spencer
Spencer after having a argument with Alison about whether Mr D is lying to her decides to take another tactic and asks Jason if he knows who Charles is , he remembers that he knew a Charlie not Charles but get this he was IMAGINARY. When Spencer tells the girls this we also learned that Mr D once went to Jason and told him that Charlie had to go away and that he never saw him again :0
Hanna “ Like Mr Buiscut” love you Hanna
For the most part the liars are together after this and go to Alisons and tell her what they know . They all then hunt around the DiLaurentis house for clues to what Alison’s dad could be hiding. Aria finds THE PICTURE in a pot of buttons . There is a nice moment between Spencer and Alison while looking where they talk about Lorenzo. After leaving Alison the girls bump into Andrew outside the police stationwho has now been released. The girls try to say there sorry especially Aria but all he has to say is that there like a toxic dump. Toby and Lorenzo come over and we see Spencer meet him for the first time.

There is also a scene here where we see the girls talk for the first time about the room with the switches and we learn it was all a big mind game to think someone was getting hurt .

When Spencer gets home she has a argument with her mum and we see her take Aria’s pill to get some sleep , as we know Spencer has a problem with addiction, so at this point all my heart was saying don’t do it Spencer but I kinda knew we would see her face that issue again.

Emily and Sarah
Quickly wanted to note that this episode we see Sarah living with Emily at at one point the girls get a video while at Dr Sullivan’s that if they talk A will hurt her as we see A standing over a sleeping Sarah. We also see Sarah go for a new look at the end of the episode going for a very pretty Mia Farrow desk look.

We see Alison show Jason the picture and they both get there dad to tell them ..

Pretty Little Liars ep 25

 

Welcome To The Dollhouse (Finale) !!

It’s here people the finale! Marlene King, the main brain behind PLL has said this is the episode where -A is revealed. So here it is your breakdown of the season 5 finale ….. Enjoy 🙂

The Girls

So this episode the girls are all sporting the orange jumpsuit look;  it seems to be very in in Rosewood at the moment. We open up with the girls in a transport van going to prison and Hanna discribing to the others how it is with a nice friendship moment. However this is short-lived since A has other plans for the liars and disides to abduct them. To creep them out and scare them even more the liars each wake up in a replicate of there room with a creepy airport like announcer. Once let into the hallway the liars are reunited and are told to follow the lights where they then come to a replicar of Alison’s room with someone in Alisons clothes and mask playing the piano.

IT’S MONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mona alive says she’s Alison so at this point were thinking is she multiple personalited or just WHATTT !!

Mona now blonde , yes it’s not a wig people. She denies that she is in fact Mona and says she despises her old self. Mona runs off and it’s clear A wants them to play a board game which involves their loves. Everyone say awwww for the love between HALEB. -A not liking this decides to put a siren on and drives the girls back to their rooms.

So it is clear Mona is just a pawn in a bigger game

Mona later gets to the girls and they have a secret meet up and confirms she knows she’s Mona and it’s all an act for A. Spencer while laying in her replica bed works out when she saw building blocks that they were an anagram for CHARLES!!

We know that the message on Mona’s mirror is an anagram for Charles Dilaurentis. So WTF!

-A gives Mona a gas mask and a note saying “Because you’re my favourite -A”

What is A planning ?

-A gets the girls to organise a prom; the theme ‘A Night at the Opera’ the same theme as Melissa year. Spencer convinces A to get her materials that she’s planning on building something to get out of there new prison. So with a quick diversion and a fake fight between Emily and Spencer its built.

At the prom the girls are all in their dresses and they come into a room with mannequins and A. Mona appears and the girls use the new built weapon to blind A and try to escape ………………..

The boyfriends and the Hasting

As we can imagine the boys are very keen to get their girls back . yes Ezra is broken up but there’s a lot of love there. Caleb gets busy and starts hacking into everything he can to get them back, but A of course overrides the cameras so there is no footage, and when Toby takes it to Tanner she puts a APB on Caleb. We next see the three at the flat and there is a knock at the door and it’s the Hastings saying “We know about A” after going to see Alison.

Caleb goes to the police to make it easier and we see Melissa ring Mrs H and Andrew sitting downstairs listening! Caleb has a face off with Tanner with both Hastings as his lawyers and as most people know, you don’t mess with them. Caleb uses the police station to track the van and the location and it leads to THE OLD CAMPBELL FARM. – ANDREW CAMPBELL!!!

There they discover A’s lair and Tanner discovers the truth

BACK TO THE GIRLS

Spencer enters a room which looks like a room full of treasures and plays a home movie with Jessica DiLaurentis with a baby Alison saying to two boys kiss your sister.

THE TWIN THEORY THAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN WONDERING ABOUT!!

A appears behind Spencer but before “CHARLES OR A” is revealed and we actually see a face Mona comes in saying “this is not at all what I thought it would be – A has a soul”

They get to the surface but just before they try to climb the fence they see it is electrified and we pan out to see they are in the middle of nowhere

So the big question is, is Andrew Campbell, Charles DiLaurentis and Jason’s twin brother? Until I see a face I’m not giving my 100%. What do you think?

 

Pretty Little Liars Ep 21

Bloody Hell

This episodes’ main focus is around the girls trying to get Alison out of jail after learning she was not responsible for Mona. So heres your breakdown. The beginning scene sees Emily, Spencer and Aria going to see Alison in prison to tell her about what they know …..

Spencer

This is a big episode for Spencer as we see her go to London to have an interview for Oxford. She stays with one of Melissa’s roommates who’s bringing the british to PLL 🙂 Anyway she goes to her interview which is going very successfully untill what we can only assume is blood, breaks in her bag to Spencer’s shock she gets a text from -A reads

“Keep calm but carry on, there’s more where that blood came from -A”

Safe to say Spencer wants to get across that ocean back home ASAP. So how did the blood get there ??

Emily

This episode we see that Talia has now told her husband and has broken up with him after Emily said she didn’t want to be her experimental phase. No girl I know wants that! Anyway, as Talia says she’s quit and that she has to stay somewhere Emily says ‘stay with me.’ I cant shake the feeling that Talia is bad news; Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think I’m the only one who feels like that.

Emily is also back dancing in this episode; this time to ‘Can’t Remember to Forget You,’ getting ready for the pageant and we see Talia watch her as she struts her stuff. She also teaches Talia some moves. Later Emily’s coach comes and says she should have warned her and first we think it’s because of who she dates. Then we learn it’s to do with Alison, which leads Talia to threaten her by saying that she can make a donation if she doesn’t want her in it.

Hanna and Aria

Hanna and Aria team up in this episode and we see them go to talk to Silas but find him in the burn unit. -A has obviously been busy. He writes what looks like carjack but is actually Varjack a name maybe ? They work out it’s spelt wrong which means they would have to have spoke. That’s a big step for the girls. We see a hoodie get out the bed next to Silas – NOT GOOD !!

On her own Aria has had to deal with a lot this episode. She pays Veronica Hastings and explains vaguely her situation, desperate for help. Later on we see her go into Mike’s room to get the schedule and she steps on the workout equipment. Luckily she’s not badly hurt and Andrew appears to come help her and after a bit of tears due to her worries about her brother, Andrew and Aria kiss. I’m all for Aria and Andrew but earlier in the episode Andrew said something about a movie they’re going to see “It’s about a shadowy figure who knows everyone’s secrets” – anyone else pick up on that. CREEPY.

The other person that I should mention is Alison..

We see a lot of Alison in this episode. We first see her meeting the girls and then later in the laundry room at the prison where she writes ‘MONA’ in the dust on the table before she leaves. She also meets Veronica and asks her to be her coach on the stand. When she gets back to the laundry room written underneath is ‘MONA is TOLD EVERYTHING -A.’ Safely to say Alison freaks out and later in her room she finds a doll of her and another note from -A. It reads..

“You’re already over a barrel, wanna be in one too – A”

DAMN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the end we see Veronica look at Alison’s file and ring Spencer and to tell her to cancel her flight and to not come home. What has she found?

We also see Hanna visit the prison and Alison apologise for being mean and wants to be friends

A hoodie puts a note in each of the bibles at the prison whats -A planning

But on a happy note, Ashley and Ted are back on and engaged I guess theres brief happiness in Rosewood!

Pretty Little Liars Ep 20

 

Pretty Isn’t the Point

At the beginning of this episode the girls are looking though Mike’s room trying to find some evidence. Again like before I’m going to break it down into characters and tie it all up at the end starting with.

After the room search…..

Spencer and Johnny

Last episode we saw Johnny take Spencer to Hollis to do a piece of artwork that she finds out was illegal. In this episode we see the repercussions. The art gets taken to a gallery and the two plan to steal it back so as you do on PLL they do. Later on they are met by Toby in a squad car and he arrests Johnny warning Spencer another sign that Spoby is struggling. Anyways when Spencer’s mum finds out he is kicked out the house immediately.

Emily and Hanna (BUTTABENZO)

As we know the actresses who play Emily and Hanna, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell are best buddies off screen and have a name Buttabenzo. In this episode we see Emily help Hanna by helping her find her dancing passion for the competition coming up so there is an amazing scene with them dancing to Bang Bang. Later in front of the guide they dance but  an angry Hanna goes off in her own dance and then gets told she’s not patent material but that Emily is. Emily tells her she doesn’t want it but later says to Hanna she will do it for her . What a good friend she is.

Aria and Mike

Not only do we see a spark between Andrew and Aria growing, we find out the truth of what Mike knows. Aria finds Mike putting something in a tree and there’s a confrontation but later Mike tells Aria that Mona slowly over time took her blood to make it look like she had been murdered and for a long time he believed she wasn’t really dead that she was just away but it has now been too long and he fears she really is dead. He says she was going to find out who -A was once and for all and she would be back . All Mike wanted was her back. So what do we think, is she really dead or will Mona Vanderwall rise from the dead?? Or is she -A again and just messing with everyone.

The episode ends on Aria telling the group what she now knows and we assume -A or a minion took the bolts out of Mikes workout gear . 😮

Side note Emily also meets Talia’s husband in this episode – AWKWARD!
